Kara Brunzell is the Owner and Principal of Brunzell Historical LLC. Ms. Brunzell has practiced in the fields of history/architectural history, cultural resource management, and historic preservation since 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from UCLA, and a Master’s Degree in Public History from California State University, Sacramento. Ms. Brunzell has managed many evaluations pursuant to CEQA and Section 106 as well as findings of effect and mitigation efforts. She has managed citywide and neighborhood historic context statement projects. She regularly presents the results of her research to municipal government entities, planning commissions, and non-profit groups.
